נחטפה ממרכז הקליטה בצפת ב-25 בפברואר 2024. כבר למעלה משנתיים — ואין קצה חוט שיסביר מה עלה בגורלה. She was abducted from the absorption center in Tsfat on February 25, 2024. More than two years later — there is still not a single clue as to what happened to her.
היימנות עלתה עם משפחתה מאתיופיה לישראל בגיל שש, כשלוש שנים לפני חטיפתה, והתגוררה במרכז הקליטה של הסוכנות היהודית ברחוב צה״ל 9 בצפת. היא השלישית מבין אחיה, תלמידה בבית הספר ״שבט סופר״ בחצור הגלילית — ילדה אהובה, חייכנית ומלאת חיים, שהייתה מוקפת במשפחה וחברים.
Haymanut made aliyah with her family from Ethiopia at age six, about three years before her abduction. They lived in the Jewish Agency absorption center at 9 Tsahal St. in Tsfat (Safed). The third of her siblings and a pupil at the "Shvat Sofer" school in Hatzor HaGlilit, she was a beloved, smiling, life-filled girl, surrounded by family and friends.
מאז חטיפתה נערכו מספר מצומצם של חיפושים, לצד דיונים רבים בכנסת — בוועדת העלייה והקליטה ובוועדה לביטחון לאומי — בהם נדרשו גורמי האכיפה והמדינה לספק תשובות למשפחה. המשפחה נפגשה עם השר לביטחון לאומי איתמר בן גביר ועם ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו, וקיבלה הבטחות לטיפול אישי בפרשה — אך מאז אותן פגישות לא התקבלה כל תקשורת מצידם. התיק הועבר לטיפול להב 433, אך עד היום לא התקבל כל מידע ממשי. אין צוות חקירה מיוחד, המשפחה אינה יודעת דבר, והשמועות על התפתחויות בחקירה אינן נכונות.
Since her abduction there have been only a handful of searches, alongside numerous Knesset hearings — in the Aliyah & Absorption Committee and the National Security Committee — in which the enforcement agencies and the state were pressed for answers. The family met with Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir and with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and received promises of personal attention to the case — but have heard nothing from either since. The file was handed to Lahav 433, the Israel Police's crime-fighting umbrella unit, yet to this day no real information has emerged. There is no special investigation team, the family knows nothing, and rumors of developments in the investigation are untrue.
